Why we compare peptide prices per mg
5 Oct 2026
Shops sell the same compound in different vial sizes and packs, so the headline price tells you little. Dividing the price by the total milligrams gives a number you can compare across every shop.
The sum
Price per mg = price ÷ (mg per vial × number of vials). A £20 vial of 5 mg is £4.00 per mg. A £35 vial of 10 mg is £3.50 per mg, so the bigger vial is cheaper per mg even though it costs more.
What the number leaves out
- Delivery. Our prices exclude shipping. A low price per mg can disappear once a £15 courier charge is added to a small order.
- Currency and customs. Prices in euros are converted to pounds at the daily European Central Bank rate. Orders from outside the UK can attract import VAT and handling fees.
- What is actually in the vial. Price per mg assumes the label is accurate. A third-party certificate of analysis for your batch is the only way to know.
How we work it out
Our crawler reads each shop's product list several times a day and reads the vial size from the product name. Where the name is unclear, an editor sets it by hand. If you spot a wrong size, tell us at hello@thepeptidehub.org.
